Hello guys I was thinking of getting a nvuk kit. My question for the guys that have similar has it made much of a difference in the amount of rabbits you shoot per outing also did it take long to get used to it

Got one shot quite a few using my .22 lr and .17 hmr. A lot more than I did lamping I would say an increase of 40%. With my friends Nite Site with laser range finder I shot a vast amount more than with my NVUK kit due to having the correct range so could adjust holdover. Which of course you cant do with the NVUK kit but the nite site is treble the price.

using NV with the HMR was a revelation for night shooting rabbits. No real worry about hold over, if you can see it clearly then it's in range so just shoot it. I could easily shoot a few in pitch black before the other rabbits started to run off. Take advantage of the benefits of NV by going out on a new moon or cloudy night so it's pitch black and you're not lit up or sillouetted by the moon.

I use an nvuk kit when culling at night. The kit i have combined with my 223 the stags dont know what hit them!

Interesting. So in Ireland it's legal to shoot Stags at night with a .223 !!!!!
In fact is it legal to shoot any deer at night is it also legal to use night vision.

It is when you have special permission by the local authorities, yes. We have an issue with the sika in our local area and dicretion is key. They are causing alot of damage to the local police commisioners prize rose bushes and as such he has had enough.
