Sorry, not trying to detract from the post. I was genuinely interested in how some of those small groups were achieved.
I'm off stalking tmrw evening so will take my BDOD sheets along with me as it will still be light when I leave.
Off a bipod prone its perfectly doable
Personaly the only place I am likely to use a bipod prone is open hill stalking long range. I have only ever shot 1 deer using a bipod in that way and it was 175m
Ill be doing my test from the high seat (243) and standing with sticks (308) which is 99.99% of my stalking covered
Id be happy with 1.5" groups from the seat (head shot) and 4" groups from sticks (heart & lung shot)
