Deerstalking Fair, 24th & 25th March, 2018

I really miss not going to these fairs I used to really enjoy them, the wait of a year between shows was worth it for the craic alone. Sounds like another success Brian, well done.

Thanks to all who visited the stand at the Fair.
It was good to put a few faces to names.
Sorry if we didn't get a chance to speak to everyone, it went a bit crazy at one point!
We were a little rushed to get everything together for the show.
It was a lot busier than expected!

Look forward to next year.
We will be back, bigger and better, more brands, more bargains, more planning and prep!

been using one of those knives for about 3 months now and although i've got a drawer full of knives they are all retired now , it is absolutely amazing and not slippy at all even seem as if it grips better when wet, best stalking knife I have seen, probably done about 30 deer with it and only touched it up with the steel, because the blade is relatively thin it goes through breast bone real easy
get one you wont regret it

So pleased to read these comments. We tried to put on a show with best practice presentations and not just a trade opportunity. In previous years the presentations were always hampered a wee bit with the venue and noise so we tried to segregate that off with an indoor marquee defining where these took place. However, I believe the presenters would still benefit from a PA system so that will be sorted for next year with a hands free mike. We will also set up an overhead camera and screen to better show whats happening with the demos.

During the event we were approached by some new (large) exhibitors who had come to check out the event. After seeing what we had done they said they will be there themselves exhibiting next year! This is fantastic news but will create a lot more work as we will likely need to expand at the venue possibly into large marquees as the two hall limit the space, to get a bit of everything there and represented. We want it to remain an indoor event and like this venue. So, lots to sort for next years.

We thought the seminars were very relevant this year and will look to build on that at the next event with hopefully even more. They were certainly well attended.

Thank you to all who came to support the Fair and again for the supportive comments.

Did you make the drive up from Wales just for the fair Pendle? If you did we really appreciate that commitment to supporting an event that hopefully will grow in size and also the attractions there. We cannot do that without visitors such as yourself making the effort to support the fair and in turn will offer more for you guys coming in the future.

Travelled over to the show good event would like to plan return visit. Seminars were good but a PA would have helped.

THanks to the committee.
