Stalking smock/jacket that keeps bum dry

I’m going to need a new stalking jacket fairly soon as the old o e starts to fall apart.

I’d really like something that is long enough that I don’t get a wet bum when I sit down.

What would people recommend? Is the Swazi Tahr half as good as the marketing makes out?

Hi Mungo,
Had a Tahr for 3+ years for beating / stalking and very pleased, hard wearing and recommended

Sorry
Direct from Swazi shipping is reasonably expensive but still works out cheaper than you'll get over here.

Be aware you'll probably get hit with UK tax and duty so although you'll still be cheaper it's not as good as it could be. I saved about £60 on what I could have got a Swazi Thar from Swillingtons for. Then again you might be lucky and miss the UK taxes!

If you fancy a Swazi it’s well worth phoning Swillingtons and speaking to one of the guys.

Thats what I did and I got a cracking deal on a Swazi Kagoule and it was with me next day delivery.

Have you had problems with water wicking up the cuffs?

And - the KEY question: can you sit down without getting your bum wet?!

I bought a Thar and Kagoul direct from Swazi. The Thar would have kept my bum dry, was almost knee length on me! The Kagoul was a better, shorter, fit so I kept it and sold the Thar.

The cuffs on the Kagoul are fine. Never wore the Thar out the house.

If you don’t mind me asking: how tall are you and what size did you get?

No problems with the cuffs (or anything else)... and its still a pleasure to climb into a high seat knowing ill have a dry bum regardless

Yes, also depends who delivers. Parcel Force even add an extra charge for collecting it from the airport and with customs on top they can massively boost the price. But I've had stuff from the U.S delivered via Fed Ex with not a penny to pay.
