Nothing seems to work, its maybe just me , whats this with conversations are they stil! Private? If I send someone a pm
I don't want anyone else to see it other than the person I sent it to and I mean anyone.
I can't seem to answer a post with a quote anymore either.
When I try to post on my tablet the key board now covers the panel and I can't see what I am writing, this never happened before.
Its just to much bother ,I won't be hasty will give it a chance for a day or two, but don't think, its for me, which is sad as I have enjoyed my time on lhere.

I don't think so. It looks like private chat between pairs of members, with no relevance to myself at all. Puzzled. Sure there's a good reason, but I can't fathom it out.

I’m finding similar. It was horrendous on my phone with a lengthy list to scroll through & if my finger missed I have to start over. I read this post on my tablet, seem’s somewhat easier to try & readjust to.
I use my phone mostly day to day & when home with the tablet nearby, it’s just always with me.
I found that also....if you click on your account icon top right there is an option for account upgrades....the link is in there.

If you do not want to reply to an actual existing post on a thread, just scroll down to the bottom where there is a large pane that you can type a general reply in to.
And no, the conversations are not public. They merely show each reply to and from another person that prior to the format change were more like a standard inbox that you may have been used to. Rather than deleting an entire message, you can now just leave certain parts of the conversation (a reply for example but you could keep the initial contact)
You will get there and stick with it as we need experienced people to continue sharing their work with us. You fall in to that category so please keep it up.

can't get it from my shortcuts on the phone works pc and now at home.
can't seem to add or delete things and the layout is just to much it seems to be full on and its hard to see where things are,
what a shame.

Thanks, Alan. Done! Worked perfectly. Not usually a joiner-of-clubs but today has been a great reminder of the quality work that these guys do.

Agreed. Exactly my sentiments.
I would like to hear what the policy is on the poster being able to edit posts as we used to have though...I gather there were problems with spammers going back a few weeks after posting initially innocuous threads and editing spam links into them on other forums, so the facility was switched off.

What I’m trying to do for Classifides is give them unlimited time to edit. Also give the power to close the thread and delete other posts on their thread.

My wish list for the forum....
An edit for postings. Mostly because I don't seem to be able to see my obvious typo's and spelling, till after hitting the post button.
The divider bar when looking at new posts. To indicate where you got to last time you looked.
The search for new posts, excluding classifieds.
