So . . . .

Sorry you couldn't care about your country. If you enjoy driven hunting so much perhaps you and your dog would do all true Brits a favour and stop over there on a permanent basis.

Maybe not everyone agrees with you.
According to you , everyone is entitled to free speech, so why not let him have his own opinion and be happy that we are a free thinking country of good people.
Personally, I care greatly for our country and it’s independence, that’s one of the reasons I support our EU membership and the great strength it gives our economy and the respect its laws show to all the 28 countries own laws.
I wish you and all SD members and all contributors of this thread a Happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year, despite our differences.
Kindest regards, Olaf

I quite agree, it’s just come April fools day the UK won’t be able to take advantage of any of any of its advancements through technology, because we won’t have any one to trade with! Great!

The only other German I remember is ein reich, ein volk...and I forget the rest...

Im sure our war dead, and their family's would not agree.
As for taking pets on holiday, you chose to have a pet, which until recently meant you stayed at home, or put them in kennels etc.
I have no hankering to take part in a foreign driven hunt, along with the majority of shooters in this country.
As for an uproar over a referendum to curtail shooting opportunities here in the Uk, not much chance of that is there, fewer people hunt than used
to target shoot, and we all know how much difference the marches made.

You live in a dreamland if you think the majority care about your shooting or holidaying with your dog, more than they care about regaining our
country's freedom from the eu.

Neil.

Freedom from something within which our government agreed too and voted in support of 98.3% of its directives?

Freedom in so far as if we leave, we will have to abide by all their rules old and new in order to continue free trade with our biggest trading partner?

Freedom in so far as we used to have equal say with France Italy and Germany in the direction the EU moved at a capped 29 votes each

Freedom in so far as we are no longer free to live and work in any EU country

Freedom in so far as we will suffer restrictions in our EU travel for any reason, added delays more paperwork greater cost

Freedom in so far as we have to spend billions of tax payers money to renegotiate the world wide trade deals we currently enjoy under the umbrella of the EU

Freedom to watch chaos descend on Ireland and a push to reunification of Sothern and Northern Ireland and no doubt troubles will follow.

Freedom to watch Scotland pushing for independence and re-joining the EU setting up a trade border within the UK

And what will we gain?

The Right to change All EU regulations into UK laws that comply with the EU regulations past present and future

Import duties and delays which are expected to increase our end user purchase costs by 12-15%

The loss of investment which would have used the UK as a hub for selling across Europe

A predicted drop in our GDP whilst the rest of the EU is rising?

Inflation resulting in interest rate rises resulting in repossessions and a property market crash which will in turn result in more repossessions and negative equity traps.

"Im sure our war dead, and their family's would not agree."

The EU is exactly what our war dead faught for. IMHO We have betrayed them

Winston Churchill 1945 Talking at the first Meeting of the European Council he helped set up

‘Hard as it is to say now.. I look forward to a United States of Europe, in which the barriers between the nations will be greatly minimised and unrestricted travel will be possible.’
‘We cannot aim at anything less than the Union of Europe as a whole, and we look forward with confidence to the day when that Union will be achieved.’

‘We are reunited here, in this new Assembly, not as representatives of our several countries or various political parties, but as Europeans forging ahead, hand in hand, and if necessary elbow to elbow, to restore the former glories of Europe..

‘There is no reason for us not to succeed in achieving our goal and laying the foundation of a United Europe. A Europe whose moral design will win the respect and acknowledgement of all humanity, and whose physical strength will be such that no person will dare to disturb it as it marches peacefully towards the future.’

Its not marching forward peacefully anywhere around the globe, and to think that speaches made in the past has any relevance too to-days chaos around the world or individual countries from every corner of the globe is i,m afraid imho wrong, thats why people voted out they want to close the drawbridge and try and claw back some independance. churchill or others hadn,t planned for mass immigrations through war and famine and could not have seen all the mayhem around today.

Looking forward to living in the gridlocked town of Dover. The planners are building F/A there in advance of the expected chaos.
Hmm high quality leadership????

It's unfortunately paranoid comments like this that have the whole country in a quandary..
And to think back in this thread you were the one accusing the leave campaign of being bbuilt on hyped up comments and lies.

So please do tell me which country, indeed any country, in the entire world; that the UK has signed a trade agreement with ?
Im not being sensational about it, it’s just that as things stand, the UK has no trade agreements with a single country. But hey , who cares... the world will come streaming to the uk come April fools day won’t they.

Kindest regards, Olaf
