So . . . .

Conservative Brexiteer Sir Bernard Jenkin says "it is the EU which is on the cliff edge of disaster, not the UK". Reckon I'll live to see the breakup of the EU.

It's like we dropped down Alice's rabbit hole

May claiming that if her deal (which is one of total capitulation) is not accepted, then there is a real threat to democracy

Meanwhile MPs are attempting a coup to prevent us leaving at all - no matter what their electorates voted for

Each side claims that there will be civil unrest if they don't win

Rice, pasta, spices, salt, pepper, sugar, flour, nuts, dried fruit, tinned veggies - hope your larders are full - trouble coming

I'm a vegetarian not a lousy hunter (veggie/vegan). Any extra I need is still walking about.:cool:

Before the vote, neither side could come up with any rational argument, either way. And as far as I can see, they still can't.
We will still want to buy and sell things, and so will all the other EU and world countries. So life will continue.

When the millenium bug was forecast, I put in place my 'millenium siege campaign'. Self sufficiency for a month, in food, water and fuel. I never really stopped it, otherwise I'd have to think about something else to do with those kitchen cupboards.

No need for a faraday cage (though I catually do have one) and my backup is all low tech. Relies more on paraffin than the electron.

Sorry, sorry, what did you say?

Reception is lousy in this cage

Blimy how did you know?

Federation of paper industries has just made a statement that if we exit with a no deal they can't guarantee the supply of toilet roll

I'm off down the co op :banghead:

Laurel leaves are as good as Izal was. Moss is better.

Have you only just noticed? The UK has been in a pickle for nearly 3 years.
Kindest regards Olaf
Absolutely right Olaf and the reason for that is simply because we aren't a united country behind a democratically made decision. Non of this would be as bad as it is if the rest of the world didn't see us as indecisive and unable to stand as one

I haven’t changed the subject, I’ve asked him to substantiate his wide ranging statements?
For example, he could use some facts. Ie ; which EU laws does he find to be so terrible.
Kindest regards, Olaf

ah so he changed his post before I saw it ?

and you are still banging on about it pre change ?
