newbie question about classifieds

Evening all,

I only joined today and I understand that to post a classified I need to be on for 30 days and have 30 posts. Nice and clear, no problemo.

My question is about buying. As a newbie with less than the required 30/30 can I buy something? I only ask as I joined the finest independent website a year or so ago and caused a massive drama because I bought a belt! No drama with the transaction, all paid for and delivered and I'm a happy boy but but a mod took offence and we parted company. :)

I've not seen anything to buy and probably couldn't afford to buy what I see anyway but when/if the time comes I want to be ready.

Not hard to cause an offence on UK Fullbore - some nice folk on there but run by a really unpleasant troll.

I've bought a number of items off here, been very happy with deals so far. :thumb:

Despite being on here years, I've still got less than 30 posts (I usually find what I want to know using a search). It's a pain as I've got loads of things I need to sell! :rolleyes:

Just make 10 naff posts and get selling.

Alternatively, start contributing to the discussion. The quieter people often say smarter stuff than those of us whom the less charitable might describe as 'gobsh1tes'...
 
I'm new too, so this post gets me a bit closer to being able to find a spare magazine for my .222 Tikka 55, or is this cheating...?

I'm pretty sure you can put a wanted ad up.

I think the rules are mainly to stop people joinig just to use it as a platform for selling things.

Maybe try the UK Varminting forum, they have a wanted section. I don't think there are any restrictions either.
My bits are more stalking related, but it's an option for those seeking long range or tactical style belts ;)
 
Iv been here since February and well over 30 posts and I still am not “ privileged “ to post in the classified section :banghead:
