Shooting & stalking can both be accomplished without being anywhere near another person, so I see no need to restrict them, so long as it's a solitary activity.

You are allowed to go for a walk without a rifle for exercise

Why oh why are people trying to circumnavigate the responsibilities laid out for ours and others health, trying to justify an outing that is quite clearly non essential is total irresponsible . My Wife a Nurse Manager has had all leave cancelled and working 12 hrs days to keep herself and others Nurses looking after the sick she'd would much rather be at home in the garden self isolating , but its her job .
Lets all take responsibility for our actions and help our health service as they really need us now.

My direct neighbour has the hunt around our village h,e is going out every day with some buckets of oats etc to drop feed into boxes to keep the roe on his permission from wandering off then he is sitting out till darkness. We have lockdown here too in Bavaria and although it is where I do my hunting (high seats 90%) I will not help him even if I lose my hunt. Me & the missus are doing our 40 min walk each day otherwise staying indoors. I hope when the hunt is renewed the village landowners will remember his actions.

Well the reality is here in our village I don't know how many other folk are infected but we spoke to a young couple with two kids we were on the road from there house they believe one of the youngsters got it from nursery two miles away so this is how easy it goes and past it to them .
A great many old folk in our village and believe me they haven't got the two meter spacing I'm afraid at all how ever you try and explain it to them .

Nurseries and schools are the reservoirs for this virus and that's why most of the population including you will contract it at some point in time, the aim of the government is to slow the transmission so the health service can look after you if you get sick.

Quit making excuses. The rules apply to us all. They are there to keep our most vulnerable alive and our NHS critical care from breaking. That includes having capacity to deal with non COVID illness. Heart attack? Stroke? Car accident?

This means...if it could possibly cause you or others to become infected with CV.......DO NOT DO IT.

Even if you would not come into contact with anyone, stalking or another similar sporting activity is NOT essential, never was.

We are in unprecedented times.
Anyone considering going out for non-essential reasons!
You may as well put a metaphorical gun to the head of everyone around you and play Russian roulette.

I am semi-retired!
Do a few days work to keep me sane and fund my sporting activity (Don't tell the missus).
This morning I am going in, to secure the building then come away.

In the meantime:
I'll not be stalking, seeking vermin.
I'll be walking the dog early morning and going for food as needed, that is it.


Otherwise, we are no better than Sports direct boss. (Another essential service eh!)
