Available: Free stalk for NHS worker

Thanks Malc, then I will have to get my thinking cap on.
One of my tenants has been laid off so I will give them some free rent time till they get sorted out with gov,t payouts.
Stay safe.

I work frontline for the NHS ambulance service as a SEMT I work on a rapid response vehicle and also on an ambulance, already had contact with covid patients scary stuff indeed, especially with the current PPE situation, it’s squeaky bum time, I ended buying my own PPE just in case, my wife works as a sister on ITU/MAU and is looking after covid patients all day they lost three last week makes it very real that’s for sure

it’s a very kind offer my friend and will be very much appreciated by the chosen person...
Buying your own ppe what the bloody hells going of illegal for a start.employers legal duty not yours

Sadly Steve we have to go home each day and its a choice protecting your love ones or doing nothing so we buy it or in my case others have obtained it for me , unlike the management they know your still go out and help the needed but its stats not your H&S there focused on as long as there seen to be getting the work done it matters not !. Guilt is there leverage as they know we can't walk away .

Pretty bad that you need to go to lengths like that for your own protection though mate...

Our hospital, PPE delivery today
This is one of the 8 pallets that arrived

regrettably, as i said, any shortages on the front line are a failure of procurement teams or management.
In my opinion, people should be getting the sack for such failures

There is a national shortage and whilst I know our management and procurement have put in requests they are coming through in dribs and drabs.
London at the moment is taking a large proportion as that is where it is worst but the other major conurbations also are starting to struggle. I heard today Manchester got a large delivery so things are getting through but everything is stretched.
Now is not the time to finger point, it is sh*t all round.

Apart from the fekker who ate the bat, I agree. Not a time for blame.

No-one anticipated such an incredible spike in demand. It will take a little time for supply chains to catch up. I'm sure the procurement teams are burning the midnight oil as much as the more visible front-line guys are.

Stick together, eh. :british:

I'm shocked. I take the mens health and safety very seriously. Over bord sometimes.if it's not right it's not done.but I can walk away and not feel guilty. You on the other hand have too get on with.the least they can do is look after you.if the risk involves your well being then it's a risk not worth taking. A big thank you too you an your wife mate
