Fingers crossed I've booked a week in Africa in december and I'm.able to still go.Ive opted for an 8 animal cull package with either a trophy watchdog or impala and including cull kudu but also my plan is to add a few other animals. With the current covid if the ban is lifted there could be some decent deals to have I've pencilled in a zebra and possibly a giraffe I'm planning on taking my 300 win mag.Im looking forward to sampling hunting in a different country and will be taking my son along to experience it also with the view to perhaps him taking his first rifle.shot animal.Next years plan is already underway with a bear on the cards work permitting. Let's here your future hunts planned.

I’ve put everything on hold until things become clearer regarding travel, not to mention potential changes to importation of trophies if Boris’s wench gets her way.....

She is unfortunatly not the driving force behind it. This has gained momentum thanks to a group called campaign to ban trophy hunting Started by Eduardo Goncalves but zac goldsmith & Ranulph Fiennes are also very cosy in the same bed. The consultation was started by zac goldsmith most likely just a legal formality. They are a very active group and put our own organisations to shame. If we think the goverment has forgotten about the ban think again. As we speak they are building a legal case to challenge trophy imports into uk and this we learned a few days ago is being fronted by John Cooper who is a senior barrister and previous high ranker in league against cruel sports. They have led a serious campaign over the last year aided by the mirror, daily mail, bbc and other media outlets and are well funded and connected in Westminster. It’s looking highly likely a ban will be implemented but to what degree is yet to be seen. I’ve been told by several people in the know it’s likely cites appendencies 1 & 2 at a minimum. That said they can’t stop you hunting they can only stop you bringing home a trophy it’s up to the individual if it’s worth it or not. Regardless I’ll be hunting caribou, musk ox and Barbary sheep this year

Eastern cape with Devan de lange? Did this hunt last year and was meant to be there last week but the obvious meant weve had to postpone

Scotland on the Hinds in October all being well. I am currently planning for June next year for a Mixed Bow and rifle hunt in Namibia. Mostly cull hunt but I will take a trophy animal if it presents. Also looking at a bow hunt in Hungary next autumn.

Nothing other than the dreary routine of trying to get 50 or so Fallow plus Munties with assistance from my young associate.Terribly boring old chap but my days of shooting big furry foreign animals have long gone and ones legs are no longer any good for running round Africa. Young Sir Guy may still be capable, but then he's in league with the Earl of Hell. :old:

Romania driven hunting boar and night stalked walked up boar ... judging by the trail cam pics coming over the population looks likes its exploded and it was high before !

And looking at Sweden for Moose !

I've lads work for me from Romania Hungary and Croatia that are into boar hunting in a big way needless to say I treat them very well with venison supplied regularly and I have voiced my interest in going there for a craic at the pigs so fingers crossed they show me some monster pictures

You learn something every day, and I have just been schooled over on the Hunting South Africa page on Facebook.
It appears that the Biodiversity Act of 2004 has introduced minimum calibres and bullets weights.
I hunted there regularly between 1995 and 2004 before life got in the way. I always used my 6.5x55 with 140gr bullets.
It now appears that 270 is the minimum calibre for larger antelopes, with 150gr bullets.
Who knew? Not me obviously!

All of eastern Europe have differing brews from all sorts of fruit the polish lads make one with lemon in its nectar but hellish strong
