Dominic Cummings clash fan or not ??

This fuss is complete nonsense. Suppose the Cummings made the wrong choice. What alternative course of action should he have taken that involved less risk of spreading disease?
I think his wife and himself should have asked for tests for themselves and their child if he thought any of them might be infected. Pretty sure he’d be fast tracked for testing, then he could have decided what to do.
Ken.

Will the government now repay all the fines made on other lockdown break

Please ignore this comment, as its repeated.

He said in his Statement he couldn't get one as outside testing group

My take on his press conference is that Boris told him that if he wanted to keep his job he had to go and explain himself to the public.
Boris wouldn't/couldn't do it because the scenario was far too complicated for anyone else to explain except for the people directly involved.
There was also an element of "OK, I'm here, this is what happened, now give me your best shot"
I thought he dealt with the press pretty well - always calm, never got stroppy - he basically let them punch themselves out
Towards the end of the questions he did start his replies by saying "with the greatest respect" - this is code for you talking a load of horse s**t"
I think he'll survive and the press will be ****ed off for not getting the scalp they thought they should.
Once again, the journos have completely misjudged the mood.
People frankly don't give f**k what Cummings did, they far more worried about where the next rent payment is coming from or if they'll have a job to go back to when this is over.

Cheers

May be some are but I’ve got underlying health problems, stent was meant to be replaced back in mid March. Missed out due to Covid-19. Meant to have had both MRI and endoscopy again missed out. Things are starting to unravel for me, nothing major that I can identify but enough that put together it’s worrying. Also my eyesight has been badly affected, not by Covid-19 but by my other health problems.
It means a 100mile round trip to see the Prof looking after my case. Not a critical case but bad enough to increase my stress levels and I doubt that I’d be treated as an urgent case.
So to see this eejit carrying on this way, at the height of lockdown is galling to say the least.
Just to stir things up a bit more, isn’t there a GSK plant manufacturing Covid-19 medication/safety kit at Castle Barnard?

This will be the straw the broke the camels back.
This just gives free reign for people to flout the recommendations.
I feel sorry for the people who could not attend funerals etc due to abiding by the rules.

He says in a Press interview that he actually drove from Durham to Barnard Castle “ to test his eye sight” to check if he could then drive to London...........

Personally i think he thought the **** was going to hit the fan in london , he saw all the people around him getting sick and decided he wanted to be far from the capital when the impending apocalypse hit as possible so he headed for the hills

...yet taking his infected wife with him? Seems a rather incoherent theory.

Had he stayed in London, the situation was that they would have needed to bring somebody in to care for the children which would have involved almost certsinly infecting them. Instead they went somewhere where they could be sure of not infecting anyone. It's a stupid fuss about something of no consequence. Several Labour politicians appear to escaped any significant scrutiny for doing worse. Wonder why that might be...

Exemplifies the mindset that they are the ones who make the rules, and as rulers they can break them too.

The ruled should just abide and be content with their lot.

Funny how no such stories come out of China. Journalists who reported on CV19 feared for their lives and officials who make mistakes like big DC here are kept on a list and disappear once they are no longer useful to the regime.

In a more civilised time, British politicians who had their dirty laundry aired in public would have the courtesy and common sense to step down.

If Boris has no shame in having extra marital affairs whilst holding public office, why should his lackeys not follow his example?
