I am unable to assist with his sexual orientation or his religion - or indeed if he is "trans" and whilst he appears to be white, I do not know if he "identifies" as such.

I can reassure you that Her Majesty's Prisons population are well represented (rightly) by all sections of the community.

I think we both recognise that's a hope with little confidence behind it. There is lots of footage of the people involved in crimes surrounding the Colston statue. Surprising that a force with a record of using electronic mass surveillance techniques is unable to identify a single one of them so far. Anyone would think they weren't pursuing the case with the same diligence that has been applied to at least one or two of the counter-protesters.

I think that tells its own story to be honest. As an ex-serviceman myself, I can understand the outrage. But it seems to me this was merely a stupid one-off while he was absolutely off his tits on drink, rather than a deliberately malevolent cat of nastiness. I think he could do with being given a wee bit of slack, especially as he's shown such contrition.

I certainly don't like the widespread vitriol that he's being shown across the internet.

I've seen far worse forgiven, far sooner . . .

Lets put this into context: I got burgled by a 31 year old career crook with 29 previous convictions, did he get sent to jail? Not at all, he got sent on a thinking course by some naïve middle class judge. It does make you wonder what sort of priorities the criminal justice system has.

A female who assaulted three police officers on Saturday has been sentenced today to 12 wks susp for 12 months and ordered to pay each officer £75 in compensation.

Guy unwittingly ****es next to two foot high memorial because all the public conveniences are closed and gets imprisoned.

There's your context.
 
I think many of you are being a little unreasonable. Look at the facts:

1: He is white.
2: He is a male.
3: He is, probably, heterosexual.
4: He was protesting against BLM.

.................Guilty as charged!
