DSC 1 Assessment Only - Northumberland/Durham/North Yorkshire

Hello,

Can anyone advise of somewhere/Someone that provides DSC 1 assessment only in the above areas?

I have had the dates Moved 4 times by BASC due to Covid restrictions and the dates available now for the next 6 months fall on my shifts at work. Im happy with the knowledge and practical skills as i have been stalking with two gents on their permission, and have my own permission where i have permission to stalk. The reason for doing DSC 1 is the head keeper on the estate i have been helping out on has requested i have DSC 1 before being allowed permission there.

I did mine with Jon Snowden @ Greenlee based at Haltwhistle, great bloke and really enjoyed course.
Two of us did it in two days traveled from Ashington but stopped overnight in Haltwhistle.

Yeah i was originally booked in with Jon with BASC until it got cancelled. I didn't realize he did assessment only. Thanks for that info.

Jon is deffo worth a shout direct, I’ve been discussing training with him recently and he will make good efforts to accommodate.

I did DSC1 assessment only last year. Like you, I was happy with my level of knowledge until I decided to use the DSC training materials and realised just how much I'd have struggled without them. Especially with the species ID as I tend to only shoot red and roe. The more revising you can do, the better
