Change from private to trade

I don’t know if you can change from private to trade, as I have been in the industry for many years.
I had in my mind trade is Rfd only am I wrong.
I am not a Rfd but want to sell reloading bits plus private guns I own etc.
I prefer to always get in writing than basic rules and then end up breaking them.
If it is allowed how simple ???
