Good morning! got to get some good stalking boots and some good leggings/trousers i have been looking at Harlika boots but most makes i like dont do size 12, any suggestions much appreciated chris
Hi Chris, I use Decoy boots from Grisports.com mine are an 11 I think they go up to 12, not super upmarket like harlika but they do me well, and I use seeland hawker shell trousers which I find really good
I just bought new Lundhags professional 2’s which are awesome. But you’ll get a million and one answers, one common one will probably be avoid the Harkila boots, generally very poor quality and bad reputation well earned....

I’m a size 12 and I bought a pair of Meindl Douvre Pro (iirc that’s the name) boots about 18months/2years ago and have done lots of stalking in them in varying terrain. Very supportive but not overly heavy or cumbersome. Would highly recommend.
For boots I go to Footwear - British Military Surplus and buy 'Grade 1 Used' which in most cases is actually brand-new and still in the original packaging.
Used Army surplus clothing is also my choice for most outdoor wear when stalking - the Goretex deals on the above site are great. But be aware not Permissions are suitable for Camo clothing - I find the Deerhunter Brand a good compromise between price and quality, and most gear is available in plain greens/brown as well as in Camo.
