Percussion clothing

Got Marley waterproof trousers at beginning of shooting season.Well made and at Circa £40 good value compared to some others at twice and three times the price.Richard.

I've been using a Percussion jacket that I got from Deben donkey's years ago, it's been brilliant, warm and comfortable. if their gear is still as good it will take some beating.

I use a percussion baseball cap with fleece lining and ear flaps, great in the cold, it's got a Treesco label. I believe Treesco are the main company and Percussion, Verney Carron and various others are their brands.
Good kit as far as I can see.

If you want warmth look no further than Percussion Grand Nord trousers. (having had, and having, a couple of other very good pairs of Percussion trousers) Treated myself to a pair of GN's over the Xmas break and wore them whilst out foxing last Friday night. Legs lovely and comfy warm right up to the point where a sub-zero night became a night of freezing fog which stopped play. Went home with a vixen added to the score too so a good night :)

Good value for money trousers

These nights out it helps to have some warm layers on!! I'm not after Trousers that are to warm as I'd like them all year round use summer as well as winter ... these days I use a combat style Trouser that have plenty of pocket space for bits and Bob's and for the cold night I ware a kinda long john leggings under neith and it's great.. comfortable and warm!! A weather proof hard wearing pants with plenty of pocket space is the aim ..

Update on my post above .. Out foxing again last night wearing my GN's. 1 degree on arrival dropping to below freezing later. Sat on a bucket seat by a hedge with a light breeze in my face. Legs lovely and warm again, even after it started to snow.

However, this morning, with freezing fog all around I took the dog for a walk on the farm where I do a lot of my shooting. Temperature hovering around zero for the whole time we were out but by the time I got back to the car I was MELTING ! The GN's are definitely 'sitting still trousers', NOT 'brisk walk trousers'

Just bought some Percussion neoprene wellies; look well made and are very comfortable. Seem like good value at £90.

I have had a Percussion jacket for about 12 years. No longer waterproof although it probably would be if I waterproofed it again. It's a good jacket but it has one design flaw. The lower pockets have flaps that can be held closed with press studs. On the inside of the front of the pocket is the back of the press stud. Unfortunately it is very easy to get the back of the press stud between finger and fingernail as your hand goes into the pocket, and it is incredibly painful.

So if you're buying one, make sure this design flaw has been fixed.
