Just wondering if anyone is doing any fishing lately?

Anybody got any fishing plans for 2021 all being well?

I am hoping to do a bit of fishing this year I never managed to do any in all of 2020. I hope to get my fly rod out again and get back into it as well as some trips to the sea God willing, watching some YouTube videos is definitely a good way to get excited about the possibilities.

I've had a few blank sessions from a local beach in the last week or so, was using frozen bait as the best spot for fresh lug is about 15 miles away. Hoping the recent dry spell will improve matters soon.

I'm lucky enough to have the sea at the end of my road and the Avon and stour 5 mins drive away, I get down to the beach tide and weather permitting but definitely this season I'll be after them barbel

Few days on Test, Anton and Itchen booked for May and June. Rolled over from last year. Hopefully all ok by then as probably c 20 miles from me

Cant wait to get back to Devon on them Macky and some Whiting from Llandudno wouldnt go a miss but i cant see any chance this year .Covid has more versions than grass in a field and them restrictions arent going anywhere soon.

Been one or two new members who look to be fishing on sd...but in answer to your question . no.

Sea trout: finnock, sewin, peel will be running in two or three months.
Atlantic salmon will follow a month or two later

Lucky man, used to get away from the inlaws in Biddeford, managed to get some bass near Ilfracombe, best 6lbs+. Good lure fishing down there.
