Just interested to see how many tick the box for all 6 species. I know a few very experienced stalkers who have only shot a couple of the species. Do you think shooting all 6 gains a person any significant or useful experience over stalking one of the 6 for their lives?

I often wondered why the DSC isn’t tailored as in theory a stalker that spends 50 years on the hills stalking reds may never see a fallow for example and may struggle with their habits or ID questions.

Shot all 6 Male and female plus wild goat and boar. I like to experience something new and travel to new places. Shot all 6 species in a single year when I was younger and mad keen.

Just need Chinese Water deer and Sika. Hopefully the Sika should be sorted in October
Tusker

I’m thinking after lockdown I’ll enquire about the boar too..and I need Fallow and Sika to finish the set...😉
How about a Northeastern invasion of Dumfries? Might be a bit of a laugh if we can get a couple or three like-minded eejits together?

Great survey and something me and my stalking buddy’s are trying to achieve this year. 4/6-Need Sika like most of you, hopefully will get to Scotland this year (if any one wants to PM me good sites.) No.2 This is embarrassing to say as from Essex and notoriously known for the amount of fallow but never found any where local or any guides offering prices under £200 for a stalk around here. Again bit cheeky 😊 but feel free to PM if want to offer day stalks. Thanks

Just CWD and fallow for me. Always see plenty of muntjac but never when I have my rifle with me.
Went to north Norfolk coast on Saturday for a family outing....saw fallow, roe, CWD and muntjac from the drivers seat.

Just need cwd and muntjac. Done males and females if the others plus goats and boar. Mouflon would be a bonus.

I’ve ticked 6 but there’s actually 7 if you include red/sika hybrids, which I do.
Your views may of course differ...
