Bloody dog walkers . . .

Works well in parts of Africa and along the remains of former East and West German border where mines were laid. But not sure about effect in the UK.

Wild boar are pretty good deterrents as they tend to attack dogs and walkers if disturbed.
I quite like the idea of introducing wild boar into woods to deter dog walkers. It has the added bonus that you will then have wild boar in your woods :)

I believe Wild Boar travel far and wide in the countryside. Many are in Herefordshire very close to Welsh Dragons. There is a particular Dragon named Ifor Williams that swoops down and carries them far and wide in the dead of the night!

A much easier sign is something along the lines of.

Please be aware these woods are full ticks that carry Lyme Disease and other potentially fatal diseases. If you choose to walk here please make sure you are dressed appropriately and check thoroughly for ticks - they are minute, and ask a partner to check the intimate parts where the sun doesn’t shine. If you do find ticks and any form of rash seek medical help immediately. More information Lyme Disease Action — Lyme Disease Action: Striving for the prevention and treatment of Lyme disease and associated tick borne diseases.
And don’t forget to add, if a tick is found in an intimate area the best treatment is a liberal application of deep heat.

If for some reason you can’t get the adder signs (which l think is a great call), I’ll send you some pictures of our lass she’d frighten any fecker off, l rent her out at weekends to haunt houses and she’s very successful at it.
The irony is that adders are one of the most critically endangered native species in the UK, facing imminent extinction; and the greatest threat they face comes from human interference, specifically, according to scientific studies, walkers and dogs roaming free off the lead.
Adders don't threaten humans: humans threaten adders.

Plant hawthorn, holly, blackthorn and brambles. You’ll get a crop of useful berries and deter the ”visitors”
Dog walkers pulled the the black thorns i planted within 24 hours, there is now some hastily erected recycled barb wire fence there now. Looks like some thing from the great escape, but the walkers have now kept to the correct footpaths on the ground.

Next time paint them with Renardine, if you can find some.
