Harry Boden knife

Hi, please can anyone tell me anything about the knife in the photo, like where made any idea of likely steel, if they are still being made and what sort of money they go for as I cannot find much apart from a mention of Sheffield.

As an aside nit sure that is the original sheath. Boden sheaths very distinctive

Made by Harry in Wirksworth Derbyshire. He and his wife used to do the leather work (belts,sheaths ,bolt holsters) I think yours has a Mexican rosewood handle.Harry was a friend of a friend both passed away now. I have a money belt made by Harry which has a sheath and small fixed blade knife which can’t be seen when your wearing it.The blade is curved so it fits the curve of the belt.

Definately the correct sheath as it’s stamped with his name on the back. It also came to me with the sheath in the other photo but that isn’t stamped and looking at it could possibly be a bolt holster.

I’ve just had a look at the 3 you posted pics of and it looks just like your sika hunter

Interesting your sheath. Never seen one of his with that style rather then the old sheath knife style with the ring of leather and press stud round top of handle. I would hazard a guess he “caught up” with the trend for closed sheaths towards the end of his career.

As for worth, you don’t see many come up these days. But something like yours I would say £350-£450

Thanks for info didn’t expect that sort of value not sure what I’ll do with it but it’s not going anywhere for the moment especially not stalking I’d be too scared to loose it!
