So what is going to change substantially over the next 4 weeks, we could be stuck with this forever now.In a lot of area's only 54%-67% of people entitled to the vaccine have taken it.
Based on that, it will never reduce any day soon as new variants come along to add to the mix.
Live your life as best as you can in the circumstances.
In 4 weeks circa 8-10M more people will be vaccinated that reduces the hospitalisation numbers and the deaths, it may not have a significant effect on infection numbers but keeping us at this level of restrictions stops a big rise in infection rates, that’s the thinking as I understand it.So what is going to change substantially over the next 4 weeks, we could be stuck with this forever now.
That would be a very important factor...IF it wasn't for the fact that the hospitalisation and death numbers are incredibly, insignificantly negligible. At current numbers for the UK, one person is hospitalised per average sized city each day; one person per average sized European country dies each day.In 4 weeks circa 10m more people will be vaccinated that reduces the hospitalisation numbers and the deaths, it may not have a significant effect on infection numbers but keeping us at this level of restrictions stops a big rise in infection rates, that’s the thinking as I understand it.
100% conjecture, there's no incontrovertible evidence that these restrictions make a jot of difference, if they did COVID would have been wiped off the face of the earth by now.In 4 weeks circa 8-10M more people will be vaccinated that reduces the hospitalisation numbers and the deaths, it may not have a significant effect on infection numbers but keeping us at this level of restrictions stops a big rise in infection rates, that’s the thinking as I understand it.
There is no “ 100% conjecture” on the additional millions that will get vaccinated that’s a fact, the modellers will have run the numbers with a full unlock on the 21st and continuing with the current levels of restrictions, I am not happy about it either but I do understand why they are doing it100% conjecture, there's no incontrovertible evidence that these restrictions make a jot of difference, if they did COVID would have been wiped off the face of the earth by now.

It's a national disgrace to have a postponement and shameful that so much of the population is craven enough to accept it.
I suspect it always has been, and we always have. It just suits a particular agenda to now use it to stir up global panic (don't ask me what it is though, I'm sure I don't know!)COVID is now endemic and we need to accept that and start living with it.
I'm afraid that it is pure conjecture. Do not the medical experts themselves tell us that the vaccines will not prevent people catching COVID? In fact the only really reliable way of containing it is by catching it, only 72 people worldwide out of 143 million confirmed infected have caught it twice. Delaying people catching it is merely prolonging the outbreak. There is no “ 100% conjecture” on the additional millions that will get vaccinated that’s a fact, the modellers will have run the numbers with a full unlock on the 21st and continuing with the current levels of restrictions, I am not happy about it either but I do understand why they are doing it
Very interesting. How many hospitalizations of covid now involve people who had the vaccine?Interesting stats from the ONS it would appear that deaths from all causes including COVID peak during lockdowns and that the vast majority of deaths are from non-COVID causes. Also on the ONS site are stats claiming that 4/5ths of UK adults now have COVID antibodies.

Its not conjecture, 8-10M more people will get vaccinate, at the briefing yesterday the CMO showed the stats on 1 dose 2 doses. I presume from your thinking/responses you have not been vaccinated as it’s all conjecture ?I'm afraid that it is pure conjecture. It really does! The greatest country in the world - intellectually, technologically, culturally, and naturally - bending the knee to a sour little sweetie from Dreghorn. If it were down to a vote I'd say keep England locked up forever. Scotland however needs it's FREEDOM!
Absolutely you can stay on your side of the wallIf it were down to a vote I'd say keep England locked up forever. Scotland however needs it's FREEDOM!
A negligible number. in fact a negligible number of total hospitalisations at all.Very interesting. How many hospitalizations of covid now involve people who had the vaccine?
