Not Looking Like 21 For Big Unlock

Weddings and Funerals the only change in the update from Boris, after all the leaks I doubh anyone is shocked at the news that 21st won’t be the big unlock

It doesn’t bother me, I’ve not had to do much differently since this started. I’ve not stopped working (just done from home at times), haven’t had any interruptions to my fieldsport activities (apart from driven shooting), and I don’t care about going to pubs, nightclubs or on foreign holidays. Being able to go to restaurants again has been nice though, and as my wife & I have had both jabs, it’s not been a worrying experience either.
If there’s got to be a few more weeks of minor inconvenience to allow vaccinations to increase, then it’s a small price to pay for reduced risk.

Be no change here, still be working and plying the game ! ,No hols no Furlough no change . did't even know or bother with the news nowt has change at work , but the garden looks nice lol

In a lot of area's only 54%-67% of people entitled to the vaccine have taken it.
Based on that, it will never reduce any day soon as new variants come along to add to the mix.
Live your life as best as you can in the circumstances.
So what is going to change substantially over the next 4 weeks, we could be stuck with this forever now.

In 4 weeks circa 8-10M more people will be vaccinated that reduces the hospitalisation numbers and the deaths, it may not have a significant effect on infection numbers but keeping us at this level of restrictions stops a big rise in infection rates, that’s the thinking as I understand it.

That would be a very important factor...IF it wasn't for the fact that the hospitalisation and death numbers are incredibly, insignificantly negligible. At current numbers for the UK, one person is hospitalised per average sized city each day; one person per average sized European country dies each day.
It's a national disgrace to have a postponement and shameful that so much of the population is craven enough to accept it.

100% conjecture, there's no incontrovertible evidence that these restrictions make a jot of difference, if they did COVID would have been wiped off the face of the earth by now.

There is no “ 100% conjecture” on the additional millions that will get vaccinated that’s a fact, the modellers will have run the numbers with a full unlock on the 21st and continuing with the current levels of restrictions, I am not happy about it either but I do understand why they are doing it

“The Delta variant, also known as the variant first identified in India, is now the dominant Covid variant in the UK. While the Covid vaccine has been shown to be effective against it, new analysis by PHE has revealed 29 percent of Covid deaths from the strain had received two doses of the jab.” Sourced from the Express ….

46 deaths from the Indian variant and a third of had two jabs. Wtf is the point in mass hysteria on a vaccination program with a 2/3 success rate. 😂😂😂😂😂. Talk about Boris being a complete wuss. Bravest part of him ran down his mothers leg.

I'm afraid that it is pure conjecture. Do not the medical experts themselves tell us that the vaccines will not prevent people catching COVID? In fact the only really reliable way of containing it is by catching it, only 72 people worldwide out of 143 million confirmed infected have caught it twice. Delaying people catching it is merely prolonging the outbreak.

Interesting stats from the ONS it would appear that deaths from all causes including COVID peak during lockdowns and that the vast majority of deaths are from non-COVID causes. Also on the ONS site are stats claiming that 4/5ths of UK adults now have COVID antibodies.
ONS COVID 15.6.21.webp

Very interesting. How many hospitalizations of covid now involve people who had the vaccine?

Far to meny experts and brainless politicians who could not organise ( a **** up in a brewery). it's here for ever so we'll have to live with it.... ☹️

Its not conjecture, 8-10M more people will get vaccinate, at the briefing yesterday the CMO showed the stats on 1 dose 2 doses. I presume from your thinking/responses you have not been vaccinated as it’s all conjecture ?

If it were down to a vote I'd say keep England locked up forever. Scotland however needs it's FREEDOM!
It really does! The greatest country in the world - intellectually, technologically, culturally, and naturally - bending the knee to a sour little sweetie from Dreghorn.

Absolutely you can stay on your side of the wall 👍👍 keep england locked up
That way we can control what comes into England " maybe we should of done it 14 months ago.? then maybe we wouldn't of had a covid pandemic . 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😊😊

A negligible number. in fact a negligible number of total hospitalisations at all.
The contrast between the current official hysteria, and the same officials' blithe complacency over far higher rates of illness and death caused by state negligence is stark.
