Oh dear you sussed me, you know where that is.

So hasn’t that always been the case, certainly has for me. It’s got nothing to do with the year.No
It means that with a bit of thinking we can make sure our behaviour is respectful, intelligent and non-threatening.
A bit of a laugh last night, coming out of a gate after successfully nobbling a fox, there coming along the lane was an exquisite young lady with her dog. I called her round the truck for which she thanked me whilst my young chap shut the gate. She said hi to him and he watched her for about 100 yds down the road. No WW but getting in the truck the comment was "I would" from him and "Looks like two ferrets fighting in a bag" from me. At least we are men who can appreciate a beautiful woman but our comments were unheard![]()

At my age I am delighted to think it. I had a word but I told myself to .... Off.But you thought it! That is so wrong, it is 2021 you know………..Have a word with yourself TFH.
I know where they am an I dow care where it am, so long as it has "Holden's Golden" or good Bonk's. Yowll be telling me Sedgley Beacon am in Gornal next not just up the ro ad.God's little acre is tipton.
The fiery holes is in moxley , it's a bar and grill these days . My mom and dad met in the fiery holes about 55 years ago , she was a police woman and worked as a barmaid part time , and my old man was just a xxxxxxx old rogue.
Ma Pardoes us in Netherton in Dudley, and is still going strong . You might have been thinking about the pie factory in tipton.
A good pint of banks's mild is one of the finest pints of beer that will ever cross your lips . I think they still brew beer , but banks's pubs have all gone now.I know where they am an I dow care where it am, so long as it has "Holden's Golden" or good Bonk's. I agree totally, the pub on the cross roads in Lower Gornal was always a good pint. It's a fascinating part of the world, with the best of folk in Britain.A good pint of banks's mild is one of the finest pints of beer that will ever cross your lips . The pub inside the black Country museum used to keep a damned fine pint of banks's mild . It was worth a visit just for the mild, and cod and chips cooked in beef dripping.
Gornal is a funny place , with funny folks .I agree totally, the pub on the cross roads in Lower Gornal was always a good pint. It's a fascinating part of the world, with the best of folk in Britain.![]()
Very much like a well used quote from a former member....... "Oxymoron"In any world, its best and honourable to think about the other person reaction.
Many women dont like it, some do. If you take the average, its probably better to avoid.
If you are a maaaaan and need to - fine but don't expect any respect or even amusement these days.
It is one male 'trait' I am glad is left in the '50's/60's. Each to his own.

My mother’s first teaching job was in Gornal, back in the early 70s. It was certainly a baptism of fire for her!Gornal is a funny place , with funny folks .
It hasn't changedMy mother’s first teaching job was in Gornal, back in the early 70s. It was certainly a baptism of fire for her!
I grew up not far from there (downhill, not uphill!), but always knew it to be a hovel. It hasn't changed.
My main experience of a genuine gornaler , was as I was collecting green waste over there . Some fella was standing by his gate in his best vest as I arrived , I took his grass cuttings etc , and told him that I couldn't take the arm chair that he'd put out for collection. The conversation went like this .
Me. I'm sorry buddy , but I can't take the chair I'm afraid.
Vestman. Why cor yo tek it ?.
Me. Because I can only take garden waste.
Vestman. It wos in mar xxxxxx gardin wore it ?.
Me. Yes , but I can only take greenwaste.
Vestman. It's a xxxxxx green cheer ay it ?.
Me. Yes but I can only take biodegradable waste .
Vestman. Wo ?.
I spent ten minutes trying to explain biodegradable before one of my mates dragged me away . Vestman set the bar for the way I see gornalers, and nothing has happened since to change my mind..
My late wife's family are from Gornal, and at family get togethers , she would have to translate for me , as I couldn't understand them ( they speak English, but it's a kind of English that nobody outside of Gornal can understand ), they would speak to me very slowly and in a very loud voice ( because they thought that I was a little bit simple) , then they'd smile at me pitifully as they waited for my wife to translate , and for me to reply.
Oh yes , the Gornal staffyI grew up not far from there (downhill, not uphill!), but always knew it to be a hovel.
I went out with a girl from Milking Bank for a while, and they somehow considered themselves posh (they weren’t). Walking the dog on the park there was always a joy, as it was inevitably full of teenage mothers screeching at little Jayden/Kaylee-Maree while a staffy ran dangerously out of control.
