Pulsar c50

right here goes nothing
Don’t expect much , I’m no good at this technology malarkey.. Video does get compressed quite a bit , but quality is still not to bad.
Out with pulsar , little bit misty but not too bad . Fox shot at 253 m / 276 yards when I picked up fox I pinged the truck with range finder so my mistake. There was also a little bit of glare which turned out to be coming from my mod cover .

Best footage yet. Many thanks for posting it.
Oh, good shot too.

Has anyone had success saving off their settings for sighting in or making incremental changes reliable if you know for example that a new projectile runs .5MOA higher than the one sighted in?
I am feeling that the settings made need to be backed up, too easy to change them without being able to revert.

Very happy with my Tier1 QD mounts that I am able to move this between two rifles without notable POI shifts.

I have swapped it from .308 / 6.5 / .223 using the different saved profiles without any dramas. But alway confirm POI before using of quarry.

Agree entirely on swapping.

Any one found a way to back up settings or adjusting POI without going through the shoot one sighting process?

if you mean dialling in then no you can’t but you can scale it with reticule easy enough. Depends on what ret your using. There are three scalable rets that are very nearly MRAD. I just confirmed on my tall target test. All of my scopes are FFP mil/mil

Hi. I've got Tier 1 low rings. What height of mount are you using?

Nice video One on top of two, I think it sums-up the C50 very well - good field of view, nice fine reticle for precision shots at range and a nice clear image if you don’t take the magnification too high. Nice clean shot too; the image quality and reticle helps to inspire confidence in the shot I’m sure.
There’ll always be doubters, that fine by me, I’m happy with my C50 - it’s not as sharp an image as my Drone 10x but the wide FOV, zoom, PIP and fine reticle make up for that.
Just as a side note, I’m using the cheap £30 laser torch everyone bought a couple of years ago on mine and get full FOV coverage on flood. I’ve put an o-ring behind the sliding focus collar to restrict the flood maximum size to the 3.5x FOV. The little torch gives very acceptable illumination out to 300/400 yards and helps keep the weight/bulk down a little. Worth a try if you have one kicking around.

Maybe just write them down / range , call , after zeroed

Already have but getting them back in again is the question, I guess you just repeat the setting until you get the actual setting again and ignore what you are seeing through the scope?
I guess that's a good option for taking a photo of each range setting to remember what you have.

What is the adjustment in cm or MOA at 100 yards if I was wanting to make an adjustment for a different weight projectile to bring it to point of aim?

Nice shot. When I use nightvision I like the IR to fill the whole screen. Does it do that if wound out ? I wish that pulsar and iray had magnification in 3 or 4 increments rather than the dial that takes an age to spin round and round

Thank you , and yes I know what your saying and totally agree, the C50 is imho a cracking little unit it does everything I have asked of it to date .but time will tell . I had and used a drone for many years but gave up with for a few reasons , yes the picture is great but I hated the mounting system , not a fan of the size of unit , mine had a click value of 20mm haha and the final nail in the coffin for me was the reliability, I was getting more and more blue screens and just nowhere to get them serviced or looked at .
and I always found it hard to range find at night with the higher mag , i not trying to trash talk the drone. If they bought out another new version I would be throwing my cash at them however that’s not got to happen now .
but like you said I do like the lower mag and the scalable reticals , also the the wide FOV does add a nice amount of depth and allow for a good range finding estimate. Night vision scopes are now different to any other optic , it’s all very subjective to the end user . Bit like trying to ask 100 people to agree on one favourite song .
