If only one subset of scientists espoused a view, and they put forward no data to support that, you would do well to have reservations.

What if multiple doctors around the world came to the same conclusion and presented supporting data?

So, people already suffering from Parkinsons showed more adverse reactions than others not already having had Parkinsons diagnosed. Parkinsons develops long before it becomes clinically diagnosable. BTW once you have diagnosable Parkinsons you might be expected to be less healthy in other ways too.

What were these extra adverse events ? They can hardly be suggesting that it made peoples' Parkinsons worse. As to whether the MMR vaccine might be effective against Covid, that's the first I've heard of that.

I do remember dire predictions of a forthcoming epidemic of human prion disease after the BSE crisis. Doesn't seem to have happened.

But also catching SARS-CoV-2 might predispose you to developing Parkinsons later.

More research needed (it's the job of researchers to identify more research for them to do, a career in itself.) Directing research to useful outcomes is another matter, but some seemingly off the-wall ideas have turned out to be pivotal.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't ? So, is catching Covid more or less likely to predispose me to Parkinsons than a vaccine ? Are all of we pro-vaccination people doomed to an early onset of Parkinsons or other horrible prion disease ?

People will often search out "evidence" to confirm their conscious or subconcious bias, thereby justifying to themselves the certainty of their "beliefs" and even proselytise and evangelise to try to convert others to their way of thinking. Missionary qualities.

What I quoted from Wiki , are FACTS from McCulloughs history.

What YOU have quoted , is a CLAIM.
See the 3 little numbers at the end , those are the references for the statement.

Number 4 is from a fact check website , that claims McCullough is 'a private practice internist' and completely ignores his skillset and history.
It goes on to say he is a frequent spreader of covid disinformation, because he claims the vaccine efficacy is (due to actual studies ) only around 40 -70 % , and is largely ineffective.
The piece claims the vaccine producers have cited 90-95 % efficacy , so the man is obviously a tin foiler.
We now know who was right and who was wrong dont we ?

Number 5 is an OPINION piece in a med forum , from another doctor saying McCullough is wrong , because hes read it somewhere.

Number 6 , another fact check site with terrible spelling , where McCullough allegedly you tubes a plea to the Malaysian government to 'dismantle' its covid jab program.
I cant check the video , as there is no working link, but for a western doctor to try and sway a countries medical program sounds implausible.

The lesson , not everything you read on the interweb is a fact , but sometimes its dressed up to look like one, so take Wiki with a pinch of salt.

What's the point in taking someone to court for financial compensation when the same person has no job, couldn't afford to buy a jacket for a gooseberry and couldn't influence a kettle to come to a boil?
