What a shame , I gather too much wrong breeding ???
The bugger looked like it could tackle a bear ,
What a shame, I gather they have been bred too big, n there joints can't handle the weight ,
Looks like a GWP strain/ genes ????
What breeds did they originate from ??and for what purpose
They were obviously bred for a reason, to tackle big game ???
As said just curios
The weight, is what the Owner said then![]()

I’ve seen a few but never one I’d want to bring home, low drive, sloowww and boring to watch.I might have spelt it wrong but I've just met a guy with an 8 month old Spinoli???
Like a GWP but a lot bigger , a belting looking hound with a lovely temperament he's just shy of 40 kilos , a monster of a dog
Just interested , anyone know much about them ???

How long has she got them?My neighbour breeds them, and works them on her son's game shoots. Lovely dogs, as far as I know no issues with having short life span.
Worked in a house that had 2 of these, they were fed in the kitchen, with in minutes it looked like a scene from ghost busters, ectoplasm hanging from the ceiling ,cupboards and light fittings. Probably a nice dog if you like to clean a lotGreat dog but saliva on draught!

Great photo! We have 3 of them, and they are all very much hunting focused.
No issues with joints, and they seem to be just as keen on deer as pheasants, this is the youngest:
