Does anyone know a supplier that has a
Z Aim rifle sling in stock? There seems to be none in the UK, thanks in advance.

I've just checked his website and he's out of stock but many thanks for the suggestion George.

There was another brand at the Stalking Show very similar in design but the name eludes me. Does anyone else remember seeing it and it’s name?

Hi Nick & all

I believe that Z-Aim have recently gone into administration (although must stress not official), there is a wholesaler who may look into the IP rights.

It's now unlikely that any UK distributors will still have stocks of Z-Aim, we sold our last stock at the Stafford Show.

Or just use a normal sling and put a loop of para cord and a sliding knot / lanyard clip on it, I can do all the z aim does and happy to put a photo up for instructions..

Roetex is the other type sling or there is the Harpsoe attachment which is easy enough to swap onto another rifle without swapping the complete sling, or make your own Harpsoe type attachment.

I'll see if the new one turns up that I've ordered but if it doesn't I'll be in touch. Out of interest, what did you hate about ?
Couldn't get the clip round me / adjust it to right length in my stalking clothes. Also trying to reach behind / around to grab clip in the dark was hard. For me the round body sling needed to be close to maximum length then the clip would slip off the end. That happened twice and I decided to replace. Build quality not amazing either so never really trusted it.

Be interested to see that, cheers.

Take any crappy sling, a small snap shackle and some ~3mm cord and it’s yours, length to suit girth but works as well having used both. The secret sauce is that sliding knot which is a variation on a Blake’s hitch / prussik along with another prussik on the stock.

I've ordered one mate, however was the other brand called " top notch"?
Possibly but more likely the Roetex one. I didn’t try it but heard the seller comparing the release toggle as being really easy to lift off even with gloves and that the Z Aim button was a little small to make it easy.
