Just after some reassurance I'm not being ripped off by the local gun shop given what seems the astronomical increase in centrefire ammo prices...
I've done some research online but most of the price lists from the well known retailers are out of date by a few years.
Remington accutip 50 grain .222 was about £22-24 depending on how generous they felt, now £34 a box generally about £30 if bought with some other stuff.
Federal 100 grain .243 used to be about £30 in Match, now around £40/£42.
.17 hmr still around £16 a box of 50 and .22 subs about £6 a box.
Does the above sound about right? I'd hate to think I'm being ripped off, don't think I am but just trying to check as there is limited rfd choice locally.
Thanks.
