Just seen these advertised. Zero stock of BR2 but the BR2 EU are in stock. I've only ever seen BR2's before.
Have CCI got a European production facility now? And does anyone know if there is a physical difference in performance?

Show us please. No idea what this is aboiut.

Me neither! The shop has zero stock of the usual CCI BR2 but had plenty of the CCI BR2 EU (Product ID: CCI-10EU).
I'll phone them on Monday and ask.

It's Dauntsey Guns.

Their website is a bit higgledy-piggledy, supposedly like the shop, but at least it is up to date with stock etc.

They have evidently made a 'new product' due to the price rise I think. Probably easier than changing the price everytime.

Yes, Dauntseys. the price is the same (£13.33) for both types of BR2's. Strange.

13 quid for 100 primers??? EU, non-EU, US, whatever. This is a rip-off.

new normal, the way tax and margins work out, it's usually US $ price 1-1 with the £ by the time it gets here.

$14 or more is what BR2 and 4 are going for Stateside atm... if they can be found!

And Viht power has now reached £100 a tub... its been £82 a tub for the last 5-6 years I believe, so the initial jump / increase was expected and understandable... £100 🤷🏽‍♂️

£96 at Dauntsey Guns prior to this last prise rice (for at least 18 months)

trickie
Luckily I bought a bulk tub of N160 just after Christmas, seeing as it’s now gone from £280 to £315… will keep me sorted for a while, but shoot both .260 and 300 Win Mag with N160.

I wonder if the BR2 EU version is just something with a slightly different priming mix composition, to get around all the new environmental requirements that went into effect?

Would seem to be the most logical reason for a difference...
