Did you gunsmith overdo the freebore? Those rounds look like some I’ve loaded for my 6.5X55 when chasing the lands due to a somewhat eroded throat.

Free bore will be 109 thou with a 103g, bullet just above neck shoulder junction , it will grow quicker than most when all set up! No bother

I bought a shot out Tikka T3 in .243
I had it rebarreled to a .308 by Mike Norris
A Orisis fluted sporter barrel 21" was fitted
It is fully floating and bedded
Cerekote barrel and action in titanium with orange magazine's
SHULTZ AND LARSEN TMD35 MICRO MOD
1/2" 20 unf
I put it in a tikka super varmint stock
Now in a PSE E-LITE STOCK
Scope zeiss dyralite

Two one off stocks we made. These are experimental E-Tac stocks and we want to see how they perform before going down that road in future. Pit and his wife Anne from Luxembourg will shoot these tricked up 30 cal magnums.

Barrelled action from Neil McKillop/Dasherman; bombproof ase mod; US Optics B-25 scope, nice glass; Etac stock and bottom metal from Edi.
After a bit of manning-up, this is getting out stalking. M40 profile barrel has a bit of mass to it but the Etac carbon stock makes up for it being extremely strong and light. Surprisingly well balanced off-hand. 6.5 creedmoor isn’t a lot of recoil to manage, but the stock really handles it well. 6.7kgs as you see it.

Probably all of them , essentially just a rebarreled T3/Remington.

You would get most of your money back on the chassis (there are a few in the MDT ACC chassis on here). You would get most of your money back on the scope. You may even get all of your money back with the present supply shortage.

Obv you won't get that much of the money back on the barreled action.

Often you might be better off putting whatever cheap stock it came with back on, then selling the chassis and scope separate.

I wouldn't discount 100gr copper either mate. I'm finding better results moving down from the 120gr to the 100gr

Faster and flatter shooting which is what you want with the copper

Probably a few, at a fraction the cost of the components. It certainly isn’t a money spinner.

The joy of a semi custom is not to sell it on for a profit fear barrel wear, it is to put bullet after bullet through the same hole time after time drop countless deer, whilst smugly watching those with expensive factory and 'custom' rigs (who seldom shoot) put their bullets 2ft wide of a deer

Fixed.

A true 1 MOA rifle and shooter (most fail to grasp the statistics) will easily accomplish chest shots on deer out to 500 yards and beyond. Whether the choice of bullet design and metal is capable of being lethal at that range, is another topic entirely...
