There are two types of insurance needed. One is evacuation insurance as provided by Global Rescue and the second travel insurance for fees, cancellation and medical fees whilst abroad. There is some overlap between the two

Our little group have all taken out 'Global Rescue' for those 'interesting' situations that can occur on the Dark Continent...



We have all, then taken out the "2nd Policy" to cover the 'norms' of any holiday drama.

One of our group has cover from his old work place, I think two have gone with "Sportcover Direct" and I have taken out a policy available to folks in my old game.

I hope none of us need any of it.


I am also fairly sure, that if any of us do, it will all be subject to massive 'wriggle out clauses' and small print exclusions...
