Mar is a separate estate to Mar Lodge, but geographically close.

Great opportunity here - back garden for me - and the stalkers on the estate are great people.

I shot my first deer on Mar Estate a long while ago - a red hind on a totally **** wet and horrid day, in the junipers and birkwood, on the north face of Morrone.

Braemar and the surrounding area is truly a wonderful place to have the opportunity to stalk deer.
