Meh. I'm not massively impressed by them. I have three, and they are a bit like triggers broom. I snap things off regularly. Including snapping the pliers at the joint twice on the biggest one. To be fair. Leatherman always repair or replace free of charge.
Sadly don't agree. I have an original Supertool. I sent it back for repair and they couldn't do it as the parts were not available and it was within the guarantee. Not impressed.
I remember buying a Supertool in Florida around 1992, the salesman telling me it had a 25 year warranty and thinking if it lasts me a few years I will be happy. God knows how many jobs it’s been used at over the years and never broken a thing on it. Both blades still take a great edge. Never had reason to buy another Leatherman as it’s still going strong!
