A well placed bullet off the correct design will kill all required in 6.5 cal. 7 rem mag will do fine too. I don’t believe the “this bullet/calibre knocks them to the ground crap” the death of the quarry is usually blood loss and hemorrhaging, or nervous system failure depending on shot placement. I know plenty who have shot boar with a 243…. If your going 7mm I’d say look at 7mm prc? I think that bullet choice and placement probably means more than calibre and so a gun you can instinctively shoot accurately and a well chosen round matters most. Other I’m sure will disagree
