Has anyone got back from Croatia yet having had some sport?

Flying out with BA to Zagreb on 22.11 & still smarting about how much they are thieving from me to be able to take my rifle & ammo - cannot wait & hoping for a successful trip.

What paper work do you need to take your rifle and ammo please?

FAC, passport, Croatian invitation, if by KLM via Amsterdam include Dutch customs permission, KLM permission and KLM declaration (via website and or call them). They are way cheaper than BA. I believe there is a cost at Zagreb of about £8 in local currency only for the Croatian permit. Going in 10 days so will respond with any issues on return.

Going with easy jet via LJUBLANA (Slovenia) then driving to Croatia!

Not long back from Croatia and the boar are definitely fewer on the grounds than previous years.Told by a forester that they had been culled back in case African swine fever made an appearance.

We had a fantastic 4 days & saw many pigs near Nasice. Being a couple of weeks later seemed to work as they were much more grouped up & had several trains past me. Very exciting & cannot wait until next year

Sat out last night 8 till 12pm at -1C, we had put down steamed potatoes from a farmer pal who felt they were not saleable they had all been taken the night before but last nights were left untouched, just my goolies needed steaming back to life afterwards.
