I’ve had a Series 1, a Series 2 and now a Series 7 (non-cellular). I used to be a watch “tart” with at least 4 analogue kinetic watches on the go at any time but I now religiously just use the Apple 24/7. I find that putting it on charge first thing in the morning whilst I drink that very necessary cup of coffee in bed before getting up is all it needs to keep it fully charged and at a push, it’ll manage 2 days. I don’t take it off throughout the day and that includes showers, in the stomachs of deer etc and it means that my phone stays put in my pocket during the day - its the front end of my phone. I can quickly check any messages coming in, see who is calling me and navigate to the parked car, etc when needed. It doesn’t pull the battery down at all on the tethered iphone so bluntly, it’s doing everything you want it to do for me seamlessly. I do like the heart/pulse monitoring and find the blood oxygen saturation monitoring very useful as I suffer from long COVID breathlessness. It’s also satisfying to see the steps count after a good stalk. Mine is taking all of the abuse it’s given very well and I recommend them to you
