Had Lakies & Patt’s in my youth great wee dogs…I'm very fond of cocker spaniels and Patterdales, especially black ones.

Nope, you could stuff a pillow with hair from the kitchen floor once a weekDoes it stop the Jack side from shedding? Looks like a nice terrier.
I've found with cockers not to raise your voice to them. They take it personal and won't talk to you for the rest of the day. They also sh1t in front of the pen gate so you have to do a double quick step to get their dishes. There a breed that'll keep a smile on your face even when your chomping on the whistle. Cocker owners will always get in conversation with other cocker owners if only for them to tell you how much their little bastards have tried to break them. What's not to like about the little f@?ckers. The big bonus is when working cocker owners die they go straight to heaven because god knows you've served hell on earth. Cockers yes please.
Aye but cockers and spaniels have to do sooo much more than labradors, not many lab's used for beating too posh for thick cover and they'd be knackered by the third driveLabs are born half trained.

I would never knock a good Labrador but was told a good Lab shouldn't be less than 31 inches long. At that length when they lay at the back door it's perfect for stopping the draft getting through.Aye but cockers and spaniels have to do sooo much more than labradors, not many lab's used for beating too posh for thick cover and they'd be knackered by the third drive.
He looks like a nice typeA good spaniel like Murphy here will work all day long and we're beating tomorrow, Wednesday and Saturday this week.
