Dog washing

He’s coat always look best after a swim in a the sea, the salt water makes him look extra shiny and it gets him lovely and clean. But I don’t live by the sea so not always an option.

When out shooting I take a portable dog shower and use a robe in the back of the truck. Gets him clean and saves a job when I get home. Plus saves washing the dog crate in the car.

Treat the pooch to dial a dog wash🤣 or take him to a Farm & Pet store some have a dog wash

A quick spray down with clean (and usually cold) water from the Mud Daddy and then quick rub down with a towel and the coat on if it’s cold and into the back of the truck lying on a towel. Get home and they are clean and dry. I do this after every shoot, stalking, Wildfowling outing. Keeps them from smelling, both are WHVs by the way.

Some for my lab. Saves a job when I get home .

Some good info and a few laughs in this thread.
I put a collapsible picnic table in the shower to wash my K.C. Cavs. Makes it real easy...no bending over. I make a big lather up with dog shampoo and rinse off. A towel off to get the worst of the water off then carried into the lounge room and up on a sofa. Now it's time for the hair drier and a comb. Job's done no hassles.
