I've found with cockers not to raise your voice to them. They take it personal and won't talk to you for the rest of the day. They also sh1t in front of the pen gate so you have to do a double quick step to get their dishes. There a breed that'll keep a smile on your face even when your chomping on the whistle. Cocker owners will always get in conversation with other cocker owners if only for them to tell you how much their little bastards have tried to break them. What's not to like about the little f@?ckers. The big bonus is when working cocker owners die they go straight to heaven because god knows you've served hell on earth. Cockers yes please.
This sums mine up almost exactly. Been a wonderful, fun and sometimes difficult dog but she is lovely
