I used to smoke the pipe when fly fishing, not only kept the gnats away but freed up both hands for casting etc.

Smoke Kings is near Leeds and the Black Swan baccie shop is in Scarborough. Both do various black cherries. Personally, the best I've tried is the GH Exclusiv BC. Some of the others can taste artificial and a bit soapy. The Exclusiv is spot-on.

If you ever can't get hold of any, Aireys in Kendal can get any Gawiths tobacco at the drop of a hat as the factory is in the town. Funny little old fashioned shop. Chap who owns it doesn't do computers. He has all his mail-order customer details on paper files and has been supplying some of them for over 30 years. My kind of shop.

I am a pipe smoker , I favour cherry and vanilla from miss Moran's in Belfast.

As well as the whisky and champagne blend which is magnificent.

I like a corn cob pipe and some more refined ones

I haven’t smoked for ten years. Used to smoke roll ups. When covid hit, I started doing the shopping for my 88 year old neighbour which included pipe tobacco. I bought him all sorts of flavours to try (because I wanted to try them) until he died this year at 90.

If I make it to 80, I’ll definitely be getting on the pipe. Might try some of them magic mushrooms too.
