Buying Swazi from NZ ?

Hi. When buying gear from Swazi in NZ, what are the import duties this end ?? Is it a set fee or a % of the cost of the gear ? Thanks

I think I’m right in saying it’s the VAT you have to pay

Did import a jacket from Swazi years ago and had to pay tax
I
Did work it out afterwards and to be fair it was not worth the aggro , just buy from the uk there is not much of a difference
Plus you can return easy if you have an issue with the product

Bought stuff from them just a month or so ago. Arrived promptly and with no extra charges.

There are lots of online calculators on what you will pay, usually comes out a bit cheaper, but don’t forget parcelfarce and the like will add on a handling charge of between £8 and £15 pounds.

My experience with getting gear directly from them is it will save you around £100 on a coat even after charges.

Basic fleece production has moved to Thailand but all the high end technical clothing is still made in Levin, NZ.

only ever bought fleece based from them tbh, and saw the quality diminish into what I consider a total waste of money. can't comment on other lines.

even the expensive Aligaiters I bought (stupid expensive) fell apart, velcro stopped working, etc. biggest waste of money ever.

I think it’s 12% import, 20% VAT and delivery works out around 10% too…so on that reckoning, website price at 142%?
