Ammunition that’s seen the kinetic hammer…

Ha ha Dunno - aren't they like an RCBS die? I know it's not possible on a Lee collet die
I wasn’t aware Lee did any other sort of neck die than the collet?
Correction, checked and it was an RCBS neck die not a lee. Unscrew from the top until the pin fails to contact the primer. So raise, not remove.
yeah, not possible with a Lee collet/neck die. But worth getting a spare so the pin can be removed as @caberslash suggested

Eh? Loosen the nut that retains the rod and move it up just enough that it doesn't contact the primer, then re-tighten the rod.

Incredibly simply and completely effective.
On a Lee neck die? That doesn’t have a nut, don’t think so.

Yes on a Lee full size die which has a nut but that is not a neck die as originally suggested.

Ahh fair enough, missed that! Looks like you can simply remove the decap mandrel wholesale without having to mutilate it....

You can but it’s a collet die so it won’t size the neck correctly if you do so, the neck needs to be compressed against the mandrel. I have used these dies for a year or 2 now, trust me it can’t be done without removing the pin section permanently.

I just use the kinetic hammer to remove the bullets then adjust the powder charge and reload without any resizing. Seem to shoot ok.

Ugh what a ball-ache! I'd assumed that the collect die was basically the same as the Lee Loader die, but now that I think about it, the fact that it's a mandrel not a rod does underline your point!

TBH I do the same, but I do re-crimp with a Lee FCD. My experience is that accuracy is unaffected. 100 yards is the farthest I can shoot easily (that's the limit of all the local ranges) and all my shots at deer are closer than that.

Yes, that is what I do if it’s only a couple
