Any pipe smokers on here?

This 9 mm Chacom arrived the other day. Big heavy pipe. Much bigger than I thought it was going to be. Wondered if it would strain my teeth, but it doesn't. Sits lovely.

Smokes very well indeed. Tried a few tobaccos, settled on good old Ennerdale flake. Wonderful in this pipe and lasts for ages. Great in the evening or on a long drive. I discovered today I can drive from Consett to Carlisle on one bowl with this pipe.

Clearly it handles like a Creedmoor!

Sorry

Ive used the pouches youre talking about, never fancied using loose dip as the bits would get everywhere.

The Siberia White pouches particular are strong, they burn like a b*tch for about 10mins then its like having 5 or 6 cigarettes in one pop going by the mg.

Are these the same as the other nicotine pouches? Velo etc?

I have some velo, only had two packs and both have been non-tobacco products.

The siberia are pouches of actual tobacco.
Ah right, I’m using velo and have been for a month or so now, saw the Siberia on a website whilst looking at pouches, didn’t realise they were still a tobacco product

Yeah, quite strong, salty/minty tobacco.

I use the Velo when on the motorbike, the ones I have are quite mild, may have to get some stronger ones.

Sounds interesting!
I use the velo to quit smoking, worked well but I still struggle with the first one in the morning, started on the strongest and I’m somewhere in the middle now, I changed around brands a bit though and each brand has a different strength for what they call “strong”

These ones I have at the min are weak, 4mg.

They are my current favourite, they do the mini’s in the same flavour in 6 or 8mg too

Didnt realise these were the weak ones when I got them, the staff in the Co-op didnt know what to look for on the back when I asked so just took whatever.

Yeah even my local where I regularly buy them have no idea, for my last ones direct through the website

I have been a snus user since starting working in Norway nearly 20 years ago (and, surprisingly, it is also a big thing in Newfoundland).

I have settled on Skruf as my snus of choice which I can source in Norway through duty-free for the proper tobacco stuff (always Strength 2, I find anything above that leaves me feeling queasy after long-term use and my preference is for No10 or No25 pouches), or I use a company called snusdirect.eu to source the non-tobacco white snus if I fancy a flavoured hit (the Nordic flavour is particularly nice, so long as you are a fan of liquorice!)

Yes, if too strong they can make you a bit rough.
I was quite ill after putting 2 in at once after 6 pints of some 8% stout...
