Just a quick test here, nothing more.
my old trusty diana .22 air rifle with open sights. wanted to see how Gamo Raptor non-lead performs.
bought 50 for just under £15, ouch.
here are the results off the bench at 15m, appalling. these are downright dangerous, they do not deform and the ricochets are like shooting a semi-auto .22LR in a stone quarry!
this air rifle virtually one-hole groups with F&T Special, but I thought there's no point in showing the 'best' we can do, so let's take the WORST lead based pellets my air rifle has ever tried, the WASP, some rifles and pistols like the WASP, my air rifle HATES them..so here's the WORST lead-based group with my air rifle.
compared to the gamo...not impressed
