I use used ones as the wax content helps the bullets slide to a halt…….but removing the embedded kernels of powder gets a bit tedious…

I've got one for ya.
Loading pistol cases with small charges.
To help avoid double dosing.
Tip the primed case primer up. Only charge an upside down case. If in the tray the right way up they are charged rule.
I do it with rifle too just be default.

I do this. It also stops you from accidentally charging an unprimed case.

Easier to use the correct size collet. Theses are sold in different caliber blister packs in the USA. Mine has 5 different sizes.

When loading heeled bullets like for the ever popular 38 Colt, (or .310 cadet) apply enough of a crimp to turn the case mouth in but still allow the heel of the bullet to enter. Then seat the bullet, allowing the shoulder of the bullet to finish turning in the crimp. Useful info, eh? ~Muir

I used to do that when loading my 44 Henry Rimfire that i brought out of retirement and converted some cases to use primers set near the rim.

Have you tried knocking a nail through a piece of wood , placing it on the floor then use the kinetic hammer upside down and striking onto the nail .




Please don't , no really . Don't !
