Grant and renewal referee form problems

I'm in Derby and put my renewal in 2nd week in April last week was getting a little worried not had any response then an email appeared asking me me chase up my referees as they hadn't sent back there forms ! Rang them both not received any email ! Emailed the renewals team telling them this and they resent the referee forms 3 days later nothing had arrived with them no inbox no spam nothing sent off a few emails explaining this including screen shots of inboxes and spam folders and was told she didn't have time to spend on this and to send new referee detail ( total new ones) did that and still no email arrived with them.

Spoke to the guys at the club and 2 members have had very similar problems not receiving emails and referee forms
Anyone else having problems like this ?

I don’t think they even contacted my referees!

Standard practice now I think and I still don't know if the doctors paperwork has gone in yet looking at derbyshires stats they were on the ball ?

My Derbyshire referees apparantly got letters in the post .

Come to think of it, i refereed a mate doing a renewal a few months ago and i didnt get contacted either, is this the usual county differences at play?

I put my renewal in with derbyshire in March , I think I was one of the last where referees were to be contacted by phone. I guess the new email system is needing the glitches ironed out. As previously said, Derbyshire are on the ball, they'll get you sorted.

Hope so but the last thing you need is being told there not going to waste any more time on it when the problem is at there end even offered to send the forms to me and I would forward them

UPDATE had an email from Derbyshire police with the referees forms attached to send out !!! also had contact from my doctors saying my medical records could take 6 months so i filled the medcert online forms in last night paid my £60

so what was waiting for me on the doormat today a doctors letter saying i owed him £50 he had done my forms and sent them in so rang medcert explaining the situation and they sent me a full refund in under 15 minuets so big thanks to them hopefully its not long long till my renewal lands things never used to be this hard or was i very bad in a past life ?

A complaint to your GP is in order. They can’t take 6 months to send out your medical records.

Never had a problem with them - to be honest i would say they are great
What i would do in future is ring the FLO in future if you have any issues

Kept be told by the receptionist about delays short staffed etc told 3 of then its a renewal and time critical
I hope its all sorted now and the renewals team have everything they need and I haven't forgotten to dot an I or cross a t fingers crossed

Do they still do that in England? Get the referee’s to send in the forms themselves? They not done that in Scotland for about 20 years or more. It all need nationalised like the dvla . Too much individual chief constables with their own little quirks.

Use to phone them but not send out email pdf and get them to send them back not had any confirmation licencing department has recieved them yet no news is good news ?????
