WildTrackPro Introduction

Hi All,

Over the past couple of years we have been building wildtrackpro ... software for stalkers by stalkers. The description is best done on the website but its a simple to use system that takes WhatsApp (or any other messaging platform on request) and builds your annual cull returns/maps of sighting and cull data, manages your documentation, your syndicate documentation, skills tests etc. It also writes risk assessments, deer management plans, auto-completes grant returns (WD2, WD4, WS1 & WS3) and submissions. It deals with larder records and the information required for BQWVS or similar standards (auto producing these records).

Most of this is achieved using AI (some is patent pending) - data is in single tenanted data bases (only you have access to your data) and military grade encryption is used throughout. We've tried to take the feedback from the community to build the software they would actually use. More info to be posted in a thread on General Stalking.

I've been hunting/stalking for 20+ years. I own a 9.3x74 double, 7x64, .308, .300aacblackout, .223 and .22lr (but only ever really use the .308). Have hunted/stalked all over the place but particular favourite experiences include Wapiti hybrids around fiordland; Tahr in Canterbury and Roe in Northumberland.
The Team have stalked for 100's of years and have built software for finance houses, governments and militaries.
We're a small team and we hope you like what we've built:

Welcome!

Wish I’d heard of this earlier to have saved some marital stress as the missus has just constructed an MS Access database to collect our cull data from WhatsApp and to present stalker logs and cull heat maps. I’d be taking a look as there was definitely a market out there for such a tool👏

Thanks wyton… please reach out if you want to have a look -> we can probably merge the systems to make your life easier, certainly we will be able to import the historical data/export WhatsApp conversations as deer data in real time.

What is being done under the 'Contribute to Science' banner?

Making it optional on some packadges reads to me that you are gathering user/cull data.

Not something I would want to unknowingly be giving others access to...

All data is yours stored in a single database for you, you can share it at your discretion, with whomever you choose or not share it at all.
There is a variety of discounts available.
SD discount 10%
Beta tester discount 20%
There "MAY" be a discount for contributing to science - but we haven't confirmed that yet

@caberslash All data is yours stored in a single database for you (date is not shared between groups), you can share it at your discretion, with whomever you choose or not share it at all.
To share data, you have to Choose the Ground which has the data you want to share -> select "share this site" -> then choose a user or Group to share it with (another button). So its not some hidden setting or checkbox on sharing the data. You actively have to do it.

OK, but the 'Optional' part is still not explained, makes it seem like you pay more to have the feature turned off.

I would not want NatureScot having backdoor access into my cull records, they get enough data from the submitted cull returns as is.

Thanks for the reply. You don't have to pay to turn the feature on or off. We've been focusing on making the application work for our existing clients and getting the data returns they need. We haven't updated the pricing table as of yet but that's on the to-do list for today!

In this instance, NatureScot would only have access to what you share with them through the portal - that can be as simple as just an annual cull return, or more if you choose.

As an aside, in the introductory post, we forgot to mention a few other key features that are built in! They are:

1. A lone-worker safety system that's triggered through a customisable time-out and will escalate a response depending on your group settings.
2. A deer dog alert system, again fully customisable based on the individual group. You can escalate from group users, to local trackers to nationwide trackers (the latter two having signed up voluntarily to provide their services).
3. Information on notifiable diseases, with contact numbers and an ability to report what you've seen and have that information logged.

Thanks,

WTP.
