KAP Suzuki Jimny Jeep

£!0,000 plus VAT for total rebuild plus making it into a pick up style vehicle

I looked at replacing mine

I looked at a Yamaha Quad

I looked at a side by side

This seemed like a sensible alternative

j

PS - I bought the jeep 6 years ago sight unseen from a gent (and he was) in Scotland for £1200.00

So it owes me nothing

Besides - I fell in love with the registration which sort of said '' Why (Y) 62 deer ? ''

Nice looking little truck. Should scamper over wet boggy ground like a Polaris but a damn sight more comfortable to have with you for a day's work and much better on the road. If you've got a sound Jimny that isn't rotted out, it doesn't sound like a bad deal.

I looked at side by sides and eventually was persuaded by a neighbour to the shoot to get another Jimny!
I looked at both firms doing the conversion and was impressed with both but talking to Darren swung my opinion

Little thing like that ought to jump ditches like a gazelle. Maybe you weren't going fast enough.
It is tempting. I'm selling my Ford Ranger and it's worth 20 grand. I could buy a donor Jimny, have it converted and still have change from that.

It’s the sliding sideways in that catches you out! Bouncing down a road in the farm and I was just too close to the edge! Mega embarrassing 😳

It depends upon what you want it for it I found it more than adequate for keeping duty and stalking
Yes it looks ideal for that. I'm thinking more of my hedging and tree work where I could do with more space, especially if I have a canopy on the back. But I like the idea immensely of having such a light footprint. I spend a lot of winters going over the same boggy water-logged fields day after day and the weight of heavy 4x4 pick-ups can be a menace and soon have the farmer jumping up and down when he sees ruts being chewed into his field. With some big wide tyres I bet those Jimnys don't make much more mess than a Gator. And you get a radio and a heater.
Seriously tempted.

You can tow a trailer plus you get loads of room behind the seats and loads of headroom plus the heater only has to warm half the normal cab size
