I'm getting 3450fps with a 70gr BK...Can I ask what speeds you get with what bullet with the 6MM creedmoor? I recently had a 6.5cm and still have a 6.5cm bushing die and 6.5 lapua srp brass so could use them. Also what powders are best? I’m away from quick load ATM.
Norma make Dasher brass and is available now.
Been pretty much the same road with a 6mm-06 but quite fast twist so I can stabilize the Berger 115 VLD6-284
Looks like a slightly larger PPC to me.Will be after the prickets with this little beauty (expanding bullet of course - 95gn Nosler BT) next week

Nice. What load do you use? Mine has taken fox, roe and beaver so far....Will be after the prickets with this little beauty (expanding bullet of course - 95gn Nosler BT) next week

Nosler 95gn BT over N140 (can’t remember powder weight off the top of my head but probably around 30gn?) with a GM205M primer. Rifle has a 1:8 twist & is a tack driver originally built for McQueen at 300 yards.Nice. What load do you use? Mine has taken fox, roe and beaver so far....
Is the 6mm really suitable for under 100m use. Most, even with 100gn bullets are fast shooting cartridges. I stopped using my 243 as I found even the 100gn lead bullets (RWS) resulted in massive carcass damage on Roe. I went over to using a 7mm 140gn trundling along at 2650 fps fir woodland Roe.Thank you all for the input. Lots to think about and research. It looks like picking a 6mm is like choosing from a box of chocolates, theres so many! I shot another roe this eve with the 6.5 prc and it has compounded my need for a smaller and slower round for <100yrds. I guess I’ll just see what reamers are available from smiths that will make Blaser barrels, or go for the 6xc. Or get a Kipplauf perhaps. Or a get a custom rifle made. I’m still very undecided!
